Essential oils are composed of tiny molecules, all less than 500 atomic mass units in molecular weight. Because of their infinitesimal sizes, they can easily pass through cells. Any essential oil placed anywhere on the skin is transdermal and can reach every part of your body within minutes. They can even cross the blood-brain barrier. This makes them uniquely able to address disease, not only from a physical level, but from a more basic and fundamental level - that of the emotions which are often the root cause of illness.

The beauty of the oils as medicines is that they don't have any negative side effects. Oils are not only just as effective in their antiseptic powers, they are non-toxic, harmless to human tissue, and promote healing. Because they are a direct creation of God, they possess the divine intelligence to know how to do what is beneficial and to avoid that which may bring harm.
