Isabelle C. Hay and colleagues from the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in Scotland gave 84 people, suffering from alopecia areata, a type of hair loss that causes patchy baldness.

They asked them to rub the essential oils recipe above into their scalps daily. After seven months, 44% of them has regrew as much as half of their hair, while a few regrew almost all of their hair back. So now, it is evident that essential oils can help regrow your hair.

The researchers speculated that this remedy may also help other types of balding, including midlife thinning for men.

One of the main reasons for hair loss is overuse of hair care products, mainly cheaper shampoo’s that are made from chemicals instead of natural essential oils, vitamins and nutrients.

Which vitamins promote hair growth?

B vitamins are probably the most important. Biotin is probably the best-known B vitamin for preventing hair loss. In fact, many specialists in this field recommend supplementing with biotin to prevent thinning hair. Other B vitamins for healthy hair include para-aminobenzoic acid, inositol, niacin, panthenol, biotin, vitamin B-6, and vitamin B-12.

Vitamin E is another vitamin recommended by hair loss specialists. This antioxidant increases blood flow to your scalp, which nourishes the hair follicles. Well-nourished hair follicles produce healthier hair.Vitamin A lubricates your hair roots, which leads to healthier hair follicles. It’s necessary to use caution with vitamin A. Your body doesn’t get rid of an excess of this vitamin, so it can easily build up to dangerous levels. Don’t take more than you need.

How many times have you heard the words, “You are what you eat”? This is certainly true when it comes to healthy hair. A poor diet, combined with too much stress in your daily life, will certainly affect how well your hair grows, and how healthy and shiny it is. This article will look at how your diet can affect healthy hair growth.

Many people think that their diets are just fine. But this is often not true for the following reasons:

  • When whole grains are refined, it reduces the amount of vitamin B in them.
  • Many people don’t eat ANY raw leafy greens like lettuce or spinach.
  • Overcooking vegetables destroys B vitamins.
  • Drinking a lot of coffee, or smoking, or drinking alcoholic beverages affects how well your body absorbs vitamins.
  • If you don’t get enough fiber, your digestion is poor. Poor digestion means there are few nutrients going into your bloodstream.
  • Many people drink a lot of soda. Soda promotes obesity, as it’s full of calories, but very low on nutrition.
If you really take a good look at your diet, you may be surprised. Vitamins for hair growth are the same ones that are essential for good over-all health

How To Use This Blend

Massage this into your scalp for at least two minutes every night. Wrap your head in a warm towel after treatment to enhance absorption.
I would suggested to use this blend by massaging it into your scalp once daily, and leave on your scalp for an hour before washing it.

The best thing to do is to massage it into your scalp and hair roots for ten to fifteen minutes every night. Use slow, firm, circular movements to encourage blood flow to the area. You can do it yourself, but it’s nice if you can find someone to massage your head for you.

Leave the oil in your hair overnight, (if possible) and shampoo it out in the morning with a mild shampoo.

This is not an oily or greasy product, but a highly nourishing and light mixture containing the active essential oils with their therapeutic properties to help your hair and scalp.

Ensure that the entire scalp is treated.

When done correctly your hair will not be oily, and you will be able to go to sleep like this after waiting 30 minutes.

Should you however need to wash your hair after the treatment, ensure that the blend has been on your scalp for at least 45 minutes.

When washing your hair after the treatment, use a mild shampoo, like a baby shampoo, and work a small amount into your scalp and hair BEFORE wetting your hair. This will emulsify any residue and you will be left with clean bouncy hair.

A few drops of this blend can also be added to your regular shampoo or conditioner to give it an added boost.
